There’s a lot of talk about how the Democrats are going to get wiped out in November like they were in 1994, but this isn’t 1994.
The big difference between now and 16 years ago is that back then the Republicans had been out of power for like 40 years and people had forgotten what it was like to live in a country where the GOP controlled Congress. While Americans are dangerously absent-minded, most of us remember how it feels when Republicans are in charge of the government. Foreclosures. Unemployment. Medical costs through the roof. War.

While the Democrats aren’t looking all that hot, the GOP is the most hated political by a long shot. But yeah, I’m sure they’ll win back control of the House and Senate. I’m sure of it.
